Although my son is only 1 year old it’s never too early to get him started. As you can see he’s ready to become an angler! FYI my son, don’t take too much advise from uncle Blaine…Hahahah!

Listen to daddy son so you can catch one of these! 4 lb. “Kagami” papio! I caught this bugga in Kailua with Grant. We were at Lanikai point celebrating Lana and Jodies birthdays at the beach. We were supposed to be partying on the “Mokes” but too much wave kept us on shore. The party was fun but Grant and I ran away once the shots came out! Thanks to TJ for bringing his boat and letting us go trolling for an hour. Which proves to you TJ there is fish in Kailua.

This past weekend Blaine and I went diving on the eastside. The conditions were pretty good and ended up picking up about 6 takos. I recently got this waterproof camera and wanted to take video for when we find a tako in it’s hole. Being that I didn’t know how to work the video I took this really bad picture. Good enough to see the Tako in the hole and the eye….kinda. After I got on shore I found the right setting so until next time this is the clearest picture I have.

I found this “Spiny Lobster” on this day also. was gonna give it to our friend who has a saltwater tank but he didn’t answer his phone. Too small to keep so I let it go. It was so cool looking just like the big ones but mini.. a mini me lobster. Now I’m motivated to make a saltwater tank?
