Partying Down in Venice Beach, CA

Natural Vibrations was up in California Touring the West Coast and the last three shows were this weekend, So I drove down to party it up with them. Starting on Friday they played in Malibu @ the Malibu Inn, then Saturday they played with SOJA in San Clemente @ the OC Tavern, and then on Sunday they played in Huntington Beach for a opening party for a new restaurant called Kona’s. One of my friends has a sick house right on the beach in Venice, so I spent the night at his house and then went out every night to party it up with the Vibes. It worked out perfectly because each venue was less then 30 mins from his house and I got to spend the day venturing around Venice Beach. The main strip in Venice is like Waikiki on Acid, the street performers do some pretty crazy things and there is tattoo parlors every 10 feet it seemed.

Sunday I started off in Huntington Beach where Natty Vibes had an early Show and then I drove down to catch the SOJA & Rebelution Show @ Malibu Inn.
This is my Friend Kirk’s House right on the beach in Venice Beach, CA that I stayed at.

There was a guy walking around showing people his Two Headed Turtle, this thing was crazy.
This guy was so crazy looking, he was on stilts walking around dressed up like jungle man.

To prevent people from doing graffiti everywhere in Venice, they decided to designate 4 long walls on the beach for people to tag up.
It was definitely a crazy weekend down in Venice, only complaint would probably be getting woke up by my friends two 6 year twins with a fog horn at 6 am after raging all night. If you every get the chance to come up to California definitely check out the scene in Venice Beach.
