randomly walked into this shop about 7 years ago on the sunset strip. It was about midnight, we were a little buzzin and decided we should get tattooed. the funny thing is that we had no idea who Mark Mahoney was at the time and how influential he was in the tattoo community. I didnt get tattooed by him but i did get tatted by one “Juan Puentes” who i later found out is considered one of the top “black and grey” tattoo artists around and is VERY hard to get an appointment with.
heres the piece that i got from Juan about 7 years back

i pretty much check Estevan Oriol’s blog every day as i am a big fan of his work. i tried to tell bones to visit this store when he was up in LA, but i guess he was too busy…. im def making my way here next time im in the city of lost angels.
