I love birthday parties. From the happiness in the air to the pretty cakes with yummy, fluffy frosting, birthdays from A to Z are just magnificant! Although i prefer when it’s MY birthday party, attending other people’s parties can be just as great. Take Nicole’s birthday party last night for example… TOTALLY FUN!

Downtown Los Angeles on the cuffs of Skid Row may not have the best art galleries around but at least we still gots cool graffiti arts!

Here’s the Hood’s version of the Mona Lisa. Isn’t it neat?! i love the color.

The other day i was going through the VJ crew pictures on the myspace and saw that while there are all these great pictures of the boys being ridiculously good at their hobby of choice, it appears that all i am really good at is jumping into pictures and striking dumb poses. This bothered me, and i wrestled with the question “am i even really good at anything?!”for a whole day until finally realizing i am ridiculously good at LAUGHING! Hang out with me for 10 mins and you’ll see i’m quite the giggler. Laughing… the best/easiest hobby around.

And to think, this is just the tail end of our laugh attack. If you enjoy breathing, do NOT ask Kaui to do her Sarah Palin impression. I nearly died.

The Past Weekend Craziness

Rebelution and The Expendables finally finished their National Tour with their last show in SLO, CA last week, that I attended as long with a few others. They did 43 shows in 56 days kinda crazy!!!
Heres a video of one of Rebelution’s new songs with Expendables Guitar player tearing it up with them… There going to be here in Santa Barbara recording for a new CD the next two months!!! So be Ready it’s Gunna be Sick!!!

This video, I took at the end of the show, all the bands jumped on stage too sing a song together.

That was it for the weekend I also got to see, Collie Buddz perform live in SB, Here’s a clip from the show..

Then to end the weekend, I ventured down to Newport to party with some friends down there at a club called Tentation. A group from LA performed called LMFAO that were classic, Here’s one of their music video’s. Kinda the same vibe as Andre Legacy and Dirt Nasty.

Their DJ did his own set at the end that was pretty sick, I recorded a VJ favorite song segment to add to the blog. MIA- Paper Planes

As some of you may have noticed, Apparently I am the resident “gearhead/carjunkie” within VJ. With that said, this guy is who i aspire to be! His name is Ken Block and he is the Co Founder of DC shoes (which sold for $56million cash) along with Danny Way (another one of my heroes). I look up to them because although they have conquered the business world by means of doing what they are passionate about. Ken Block is actually a pro snowboarder who has a hobby of driving cars. Just kinda inspiring to see guys like this. besides the fact that hes rich, hes a fkn BAD mofo at driving too!!!!

next time one of your friends tries to tell you at how great of a drifter he (or she) is, just show em this vid and they will most likely shut up…
